Article Submission: How to Set Up a New Account at EzineArticles.com
For some, opening accounts at free article directories may appear to be one of the most boring or daunting things about submitting articles. However, don’t allow yourself to fall into this ‘thinking trap’ as you will simply stifle your article marketing efforts, and you won’t then get the website traffic you seek. Don’t procrastinate, just do it!
In fact the procedure of opening an account at an article directory is very simple and painless – satisfying even, because you know you are on the road to article marketing success and lots of website traffic. So let’s take a brief look at the process.
In order to publish your articles at article directories you will need an account for each directory you wish to submit to. EzineArticles.com is generally regarded as the most important article directory so let’s start with that one.
When I opened my own account at EzinesArticle.com I found the process very easy, with no problems whatsoever. There is actually a fairly small amount of information that you have to provide, and setting the account up was in fact a lot quicker than I expected.
To open an account at the leading article directory you will need to go to EzineArticles.com and click on the link ‘Submit Articles’ near the top of the left side navigation column, just under the heading ‘EzineArticles For Authors’.
A page will then come up with the title ‘EzineArticles Membership Account Creation’. On this page fill in your details, including a current email address, the password you would like for the account, your name, your address, your phone number and the website which you will be linking to (you can of course link to others later that you have not entered here).
When you fill in your name you use your own name of course, but note that later when you are submitting articles, you have the option to write under a pen name. Such pen names are then easy to set up. Writers often use pen names for various reasons, such as when writing about a particular subject area.
There is also a box in which you have to state how you heard of EzineArticles.com. There is a drop-down menu from which you can choose the one which best applies. Below this you will need to enter the verification code (to prove you’re not a robot) that you see displayed. Then just click the ‘Create My Account’ button. There, that really wasn’t so hard was it!
When you first open an account at EzineArticles.com you are given a limit of ten articles that you may submit. Once your articles have been approved by Ezinearticles.com you are not limited to ten.
There are some guidelines that you have to follow when submitting your articles to EzineArticles.com. In my next post I will look at these guidelines in detail.

i do a lot of Article Submissions because it is a good way of getting a good pagerank. i am still looking for a good article submission software.
